Sue Leigh

Sunday 27th September - 17.30

‘Perhaps what one wants to say is formed in childhood and the rest of one’s life is spent trying to say it.’ Barbara Hepworth

Sue Leigh will be reading from her third limited-edition pamphlet, ‘Angel Roof’, inspired by time spent in East Anglia, particularly as a child. There will be poems about angels, memory, art and the sea.

Refreshments, including wine will be served in the Priory Garden.

Sue Leigh has had two collections of poetry published, Chosen Hill and Her Orchards. Simmer Dim, a pamphlet of poems inspired by time spent on Shetland, was published recently by Evergreen Press. She teaches at the University of Oxford and runs her own poetry course, ‘Conversations in Poetry’.
